The Confederation of Tanzania Industries (CTI) is a business membership organisation launched in July 1991. In the difficult business climate of the early 1990s, CTI set out to advocate on the issues that mattered most to manufacturers — fiscal policy and taxation, the legal and regulatory framework, regional and multilateral trade, and infrastructure such as electricity, roads, railways and ports.
Today CTI is an independent, self-financed and legally constituted organisation that serves its members by speaking out on their behalf and representing their interests. Membership is corporate — open to registered companies operating in Tanzania — and spans the manufacturing sector together with associates in banking, insurance, logistics and hospitality.
buygoods.co.tz is owned and operated by CTI: the confederation's own national B2B and wholesale marketplace, taking verified CTI-member factories straight to buyers and agents across all 26 regions.
